DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
The Diploma in Engineering in Information Technology Program was started in the year 2000 to cater to the growing needs of e-management, e-commerce, e-marketing etc. The 3 year Diploma course is designed to create proficient engineers who are ready to contribute to the expansion and utilization of Information Technology in all spheres of society.

MISSION
M 1: Design and implement student centric teaching- learning process, incorporate core knowledge, tools and practices to meet the industrial and societal needs.

PROGRAM EDUCATION OUTCOMES (PEO)
PEO 1: The Diploma engineers have the ability to demonstrate professional competence in the field of Information Technology.
PEO 2: The Diploma engineers demonstrate the ability of life-long learning through advanced studies, job experience, entrepreneurship, and other professional avenues.

PSO1: The Diploma engineer shall be competent to design, develop, and deploy IT solutions according to requirement of society and industry.
