Department of Automobile Engineering was established in 1957 at Government Polytechnic, Ujjain, M.P. Later, in 1967, it was shifted to Kalaniketan Polytechnic College, Jabalpur. It offers three years Diploma in Automobile Engineering and one and half year Post Diploma in Automobile Engineering.
