About Training and Placement

The Kalaniketan Polytechnic College was established in the year 1955. Students from the college are working in prestigious posts in government, public and private organization in India & abroad. Its strength lies in strong infrastructure, skilled and dedicated faculty and staff and well equipped laboratories. The institute was declared autonomous in1998 by MP government. Nine branches are run in the institute viz. Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automobile, Printing, Computer science, Information technology & Pharmacy. Training and placement cell of institute facilitates the process of placement of students passing from institute and training of students across various reputed companies by coordinating with representatives of companies. Workshops and seminars are also organized for encouraging students to become entrepreneurs.

Guidelines for students

Students appearing for Campus selection should follow the guidelines mentioned below:

 

  • Students with 75% attendance will be allowed to appear in the Campus Drives/Internship interviews.
  • There should not be any indisciplinary record of the student attending the campus process.
  • Students with 6.0 CGPA and above aggregate marks will be allowed to attend the selection process.
  • All Students appearing for the campus placement including the volunteers, are supposed to dress up in formals (boys – full sleeve shirt, formal trousers & shoes; Girls – Formal dress only will be allowed), right from the beginning of PPT till end of entire selection process.
  • Strict discipline will be maintained during the placement activity. The placement cell would be very strict regarding all the policies. Anyone found disobeying them would be debarred from the placement and may lose the job. Student’s behavior in presence of the company executives, in particular, frames the image of the Institution. Students should conduct themselves properly and should not make any attempt to tarnish the image of the Institute, failing which the miscreants will have to face adverse consequences by the committee.
  • Student coordinators will check the ID cards of the students before the drive.
  • Departmental faculty coordinators along with company HR will invigilate the students during the written test.
  • Students will not be allowed to carry any electronic gadgets (cell phones, programmable calculators) in the examination hall.

  8. Passport size Photograph (Minimum two)
  9. Internship/Training Certificates
  10. Minor Project and Major Project reports

 

Training for Faculty & Staff

Training of Faculty and staff is important to keep them upgraded and updated in knowledge and skill in latest technologies. Training of Faculty and staff of institute is arranged by TPO cell. The Staff of institute has attended several training programs and workshops in reputed organizations like NITTTR, CRISP, IGTR, MPCON and various state and central level institutions.
