Vision And Mission

ABOUT US

Diploma course in Electrical Engineering is started in 1956. Electrical Engineering is concerned with the study, application of equipments, devices and systems which uses electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. There are equally good opportunities for jobs in the electrical engineering industry & higher education. The department offers:

  • Three Year Diploma Course (Regular)
  • Four Year Part Time Diploma Course (PTDC)
  • Diploma under Community College Scheme
  • Suryamitra Skill Development Training Program conducted in year 2015-16 sponsored by Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Govt. of India. Organised by National Institute of Solar Energy, Gurgaon and Urja Vikas Nigam, Bhopal.
  • Community Polytechnic Training Program for differently able Persons

Through all these different programs the department continues its tradition of giving qualified persons to the industry and public sector. The department emphasizes towards imparting quality education, rigorous teaching-learning, hands-on expertise and helping students to shape their all-round personality.

The Department with its strong pool of faculty, well-developed laboratories contributes to develop life-long learning skills to diploma holders. Apart from teaching, the department is also involved in organising technical workshops, expert lectures, industrial visits, industrial training, personality development programmes to create an environment conducive to experiential learning.

PROGRAMME EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEOs):

PEO1: To acquire knowledge of basic principles of science and engineering.

PEO2: Use and maintain electrical systems, tools and application in a field of electrical and allied engineering industry.

PEO3: Ability to practice ethically, lifelong learning, carrier enhancement, work effectively as an individual and team member.

PEO4: To adopt professional and societal needs with environmental sustainability.
