Department of Mechanical Engineering

ABOUT US-

Diploma course in Mechanical Engineering is started in 1956. Mechanical Engineering Department is also one of the biggest departments of the institute. In Diploma mechanical engineering mainly concerned with the Design and Production of Machinery.

The Department offers:

1. Three Year Diploma Course (Regular)
2. Four Year Part Time Diploma Course (PTDC)

The department endeavors to develop competent mechanical engineers to cater industrial requirements and societal needs.

1. To render quality education and training to enhance professional and entrepreneurial skills of students.
2. To develop attitude of lifelong learning in students and staff.

4. To continuously upgrade departmental resources, infrastructure and faculty by acquiring state of art technology and imparting training to faculty and staff.
